Science Creates St Philips incubator (formerly Unit DX) opened in 2017 to improve access to lab space and facilities for scientific companies in Bristol. The space combines purpose-built laboratories, flexible offices and cutting-edge instrumentation; and offers flexible leases on both private and shared labs, as well as private and shared office space.
Membership includes access to Science Creates' platform of support, providing opportunities to attend workshops and events, connect with other founders, and find a mentor. Science Creates' incubators are developed and run by a specialist in-house team, and support Deep Tech startups and scaleups with high-spec labs, offices, social areas, event spaces, equipment and operational services.
Beyond lab space, membership at Science Creates unlocks further support for startups, including: - Advice from our network of experts and partners - Access to key business events and workshops - Access to a community of Deep Tech startups - Founder meetups to learn from other entrepreneurs - Discounted rates from suppliers.

Science Creates St Philips is located on Albert Road, about a 10 minute walk from Temple Meads station and Bristol city centre. It is easily reached by bicycle via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, and by car thanks to its links to St Philips Causeway and Feeder Road, which unlock easy access to the A4 and M32.
