Alternatively, main roads mean you can reach Colchester, Ipswich, Harwich and Chelmsford in less than an hour by car. For travel further afield, Stansted Airport is 48 miles away.

The popular pier is a great place to spend a few hours, with bowling, adventure golf, and of course classic seaside food, while Princes and West Cliff Theatres offer evening entertainment. Children will love a trip to Hasty’s Adventure Farm, and if you like staying active there’s a great golf course, water sports centre, and local sports clubs.

Clacton has a good range of amenities for you to make use of. Essential services such as a hospital, pharmacies, supermarkets and banks, are joined by a wide selection of pubs, eateries, and both independent and high street shops. Clacton Shopping Village, just 0.4 miles from Trinity Fields, hosts high street stores, discount outlets and food options, while Morrisons and Tesco Superstore are close by for the weekly shop.
