Families can enjoy many cultural attractions here, including Cambridge University Botanic Gardens. London is just over an hour's journey on the train, the capital host to lots of entertainment and leisure opportunities. </p>
<p>Ely Leisure Village is a four-minute drive away, with a cinema and a host of eateries including a public house, American, and Italian dining. </p> <p>Everyday amenities are easily acquired within Ely in around six minutes' drive, including several well-known supermarkets, banks, a weekly market, and a generous selection of popular retail stores. As well as this, the local GP surgery is just two miles away. For dining, Ely is well stocked; locals enjoy Japanese, Italian, Thai, pubs, and bars, among others. As well as this, there are chain and independent cafes dotted around the city centre. Notably, Ely's charming riverside is bustling with activity, boasting an antiques store, a community cinema, trendy eateries, and boat trips along the River Great Ouse. </p>
