Seller's comments:
Living on Ascot Way has given us so much to enjoy, and one of the things we will miss most is the community. It is a genuinely friendly and welcoming place to live, with a lovely family-oriented feel that makes the close feel much more than just a row of houses.
A number of our neighbours have lived here since the houses were originally built, which says a lot about how much people enjoy living here. Everyone is friendly, always happy to stop for a chat, and there is a real sense that people look out for one another.
We even have an Ascot Way neighbours’ WhatsApp group, which is great for keeping in touch, and every so often residents get together for a drink at the local pub. It’s those little things that have made living here feel like being part of a proper community rather than simply living in a house.
The location has also been a huge benefit. It is peaceful and tucked away, but incredibly convenient for getting around. The M40 and A34 are easily accessible without having to navigate through Bicester town centre, which makes commuting and travelling further afield much easier.
Both Bicester train stations are around a 20-minute walk away, making travel into London, Oxford and elsewhere straightforward.
At home, we have particularly enjoyed the quiet garden. It is a lovely place to sit out in the evening, relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. The side-by-side parking is another practical feature that makes everyday life that little bit easier.
For us, it is the combination of the friendly neighbours, peaceful surroundings and excellent connections that makes living here so enjoyable.
We will be sad to leave, particularly the community we have become part of, but we hope the next owners enjoy living here as much as we have.
Agent's comments:
Tucked away in a particularly private position on the Kingsmere development, this three-bedroom semi-detached home offers a rare combination of peace, privacy and practical family living.
Secluded behind mature trees, the property enjoys a discreet position away from the main flow of the development, while still offering excellent access to the amenities Kingsmere has to offer.
The property opens into a particularly wide entrance hall, creating an impressive first impression and providing excellent access to the ground-floor accommodation. There is a convenient downstairs W.C., while the main living space comprises a spacious lounge/diner, providing plenty of room for both relaxing and entertaining.
To the rear is a well-proportioned kitchen/breakfast room, offering a practical and sociable space for everyday family life.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, including a principal bedroom benefiting from its own en-suite shower room, alongside the family bathroom.
Externally, the property's position is a real highlight, with the home being secluded behind trees and particularly private for a property on the Kingsmere development.
The property also benefits from two allocated parking spaces, adding further convenience alongside a low maintenance rear garden that has a good sized patio, faux grass and rear access to the parking.
A well-positioned three-bedroom home with a genuinely private setting, generous entrance hall, excellent living accommodation and two allocated parking spaces - an opportunity that is well worth viewing.
