Spacious Two Bedroom Apartment Walk To Fleet Station & High Street 700+ Sq Ft

Seller's View

This has been my first home on my own, so it'll always be a really special place for me. I've spent the last four years here and, if i'm honest, it wasn't an easy decision to move. I'm only leaving because it's time for the next chapter and a house of my own.

The flat has always felt bright, welcoming and easy to live in. I've also been really lucky with the neighbours, everyone is friendly, and it's been a lovely place to come home to.

I've lived in Fleet since 2015, and it's a fantastic town. Everything you need is within easy reach, from great coffee shops and restaurants to the High Street and train station, making it a brilliant place to live whether you're commuting or just enjoying everything the town has to offer.

I really hope the next owner enjoys living here as much as I have and creates as many happy memories as this home has given me.

Jack’s Comments

For me, this is a really strong option for a first-time buyer who wants proper space without giving up the convenience of living close to town.

At just over 700 sq ft, the apartment feels noticeably larger than many two-bedroom flats. Both bedrooms are genuine doubles, the living room is bright and spacious, and the layout is practical without wasting too much space on long hallways.

The new boiler is a useful upgrade, while the long lease and reasonable service charges and ground rent should also appeal to buyers looking for something manageable and straightforward.

The allocated parking space is another important benefit, particularly in such a convenient location. Fleet High Street, the train station, cafés, restaurants and everyday shops are all within walking distance, so the car will not always be needed.

I think this will suit someone buying their first home, a couple looking for more room, or an investor wanting a well-located property with broad appeal. It is bright, well proportioned and positioned to offer a genuinely convenient Fleet lifestyle.

Area View

Fleet is consistently one of Hampshire's most popular places to live, and it's easy to see why. The town has a great mix of independent cafés, restaurants, pubs and well-known shops, all centred around its bustling High Street, giving you everything you need within easy reach.

For commuters, Fleet is hard to beat. The train station offers regular services into London Waterloo, while the nearby M3 provides straightforward access towards London, Basingstoke and the South Coast.

If you enjoy getting outdoors, there are plenty of green spaces nearby, including Fleet Pond Nature Reserve, the Basingstoke Canal and a number of woodland walks. Whether it's a morning coffee in town, a weekend stroll or an evening meal with friends, Fleet offers a lifestyle that's just as appealing as the property itself.

Alwood House is perfectly positioned to make the most of it all, with the High Street and train station both within walking distance. For first-time buyers in particular, it's the sort of location that makes everyday life that little bit easier while still offering excellent long-term appeal.
