The Lee is an exceptionally pretty village with strong connections to the Liberty family and it has frequently been the location for television productions such as Midsomer Murders and Endeavour. Village life centres around The Green and the 12th century church which regularly hosts musical events and functions. There is a well supported cricket club and also a tennis court in the village as well as a community shop. Local pubs include the newly revamped Cock and Rabbit Inn with a wider choice of restaurants and shops in nearby Great Missenden and Wendover. Frequent trains run from both villages to London Marylebone in around 45 minutes. Buckinghamshire is renowned for its state and private education, including the much-prized Grammar Schools
