Outline planning permission was originally submitted in 2016 for ‘the demolition of existing structures and for the erection of44 dwellings (use class C3) with means of site access from Benns Lane, ’ whilst reserving appearance, landscaping, layout and scale for future approval. This was submitted under reference 16/02230/om and was subsequently granted in April2018. Reserved matters were later submitted in March 2021 for43 dwellings under reference 21/00589/rmm and this was granted under appeal in December 2022, subject to conditions, a full list of which can be found within the legal pack.
