When we bought the house in 2021, we were instantly drawn in by the potential; the idea of opening up the kitchen to the side and out the back, going above the garage for an extra bedroom or two, like others on the street have done, and reclaiming the extra couple of metres on the plot up to the footpath boundary, to widen out the garden and the driveway.

If we weren’t now moving to the coast to be closer to family this would be our home for years to come.

Although our big plans never came to life, we’ve still had some brilliant years here and made it a warm, comfortable home. It’ll be sad to go, but we’re sure it’ll be a fantastic home for someone else, as it is or as it could be
