The Sellers View
From the moment we moved into Wheeler Close, it has felt like home. It has been the perfect place for our little family, growing and adapting alongside us over the years.
We've made thoughtful changes to suit the way we live, creating a separate outdoor office so we could continue enjoying three proper bedrooms inside, extending the driveway to comfortably accommodate family and visitors, and keeping a lovely lawned garden where our toddler can play safely.
One of the things we'll miss most is the location. There's something really special about stepping outside into peaceful surroundings, with woodland walks and the local park just moments away. It offers the best of both worlds. A quieter pace of life while still being incredibly convenient for local amenities, Reading and the M4 when work or days out call.
It's the little everyday moments we'll treasure most. Family walks through the woods, watching our child enjoy the garden and coming home to a place that has always felt calm, welcoming and truly ours.
Leaving is a decision we've found incredibly difficult because this house has given us so many happy memories. If we could pick it up and take it with us, we genuinely would. We hope whoever calls Wheeler Close home next experiences the same happiness that we have.
The Agents View
Tucked away in a peaceful corner of Wheeler Close, this is one of those homes that offers a little bit of everything. Well presented throughout, practical for modern family life and set in a fantastic location that's surrounded by greenery whilst remaining within easy reach of everyday amenities.
Step inside and you're welcomed by an entrance hallway which leads into a bright and comfortable living room, the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. From here, the home flows naturally into the kitchen and dining area, creating a sociable space that's ideal for family meals or entertaining friends.
The current owners have enhanced the rear of the home with new double doors that open directly onto the garden, allowing the inside and outside to blend seamlessly during the warmer months. The garden itself is a real highlight. Offering a great level of privacy, there's plenty of room for outdoor furniture, children's play equipment or simply enjoying a morning coffee in the sunshine. The addition of a fully insulated garden office provides an excellent work from home space, hobby room or studio, whilst the garage can also be accessed directly from the garden for added practicality.
Upstairs you'll find three well proportioned bedrooms, including two comfortable doubles with built in wardrobes, alongside a generous single bedroom that's ideal as a child's room, nursery or home office. A modern family bathroom completes the first floor.
Outside, the owners have thoughtfully extended the driveway to create parking for up to four vehicles, something that's becoming increasingly difficult to find and will certainly appeal to growing families and households with multiple cars.
Combining a peaceful setting, versatile living space and excellent practicality both inside and out, this is a home that's ready for its next chapter.
