When my wife and I retired, we were looking for a well-maintained bungalow with a garage, manageable gardens, and easy-to-maintain accommodation. This property immediately ticked all the boxes and, after making a number of thoughtful improvements, it has been a wonderful home where we've enjoyed many happy years creating lasting memories with our growing family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

One of the things we've appreciated most is the convenient location. The local shops at Wessex Wayare just a short distance away, there are excellent bus links into Maidenhead, and nearby Ockwells Park and Thrift Woods have provided lovely places to enjoy walks with family and the dog. More recently, the accessibility of the area has been especially important, allowing me to continue enjoying the local surroundings using my mobility scooter.

We made several enhancements to suit our lifestyle, including relocating the lounge to the rear of the property to create a bright conservatory overlooking the garden.

This also allowed for a spacious principal bedroom with fitted wardrobes and space for a dressing table.
