Dating back to the 1850s and showcasing striking Pugin-inspired architectural influences, this beautifully presented residence seamlessly combines period elegance with contemporary comfort. Extending to approximately 1,500 square feet, the accommodation is arranged over two floors, creating a wonderful sense of space more commonly associated with a house than an apartment.
The property offers two generously proportioned double bedrooms, complemented by a versatile walk-in wardrobe that could also serve as a third bedroom, dressing room or home office, depending on individual requirements. The spacious family bathroom is a particular feature of the home, comparable in size to the bedrooms and offering an impressive sense of space rarely found in apartment living.
The modern fitted kitchen has been thoughtfully designed to complement the property's character while providing stylish and practical space for everyday living.
Occupying an enviable position, the apartment enjoys attractive sea views and access to beautifully maintained communal gardens, providing the perfect setting to relax and unwind. Rich in original character and impeccably presented throughout, this impressive home retains an abundance of period charm while offering stylish, spacious accommodation in a prime coastal location.
Chartham Terrace is ideally positioned within easy reach of Ramsgate's Royal Harbour, sandy beaches, town centre amenities and transport links, making this a superb permanent residence, elegant seaside retreat or investment opportunity.

Location Summary
Ramsgate is situated on the southerly aspect of the Isle of Thanet and benefits the country’s only Royal Harbour, its status being granted by King George IV in 1821. The distinctive and beautiful harbour has a vibrant yachting community alongside some commercial activity and was where the Little Ships evacuation of Dunkirk set out from in 1940. The town is enjoying something of a Renaissance with its large amount of Grade II Listed property, many set within elegant Regency squares, or overlooking the sea, others with links to or influenced by the architect Augustus Pugin. In recent years the Royal Harbour has seen many restaurants, cafes and bars emerge alongside quirky independent retail outlets, some utilising the arches on the quayside beneath Royal Parade. The town is steeped in history with associations to many well known figures including Queen Victoria, Karl Marx and Vincent Van Gogh as well as having a fascinating network of tunnels beneath the main centre. The fortunes of the town have been hugely assisted by the recent addition of a high speed rail link to London St Pancras making a commute for many a viable option.
