Llangammarch Wells (population 541 in 2011 Census) is a historic small Victorian Spa Resort set on the banks of the River Irfon, its development helped by the Railway Line (Shrewsbury to Swansea) and in its heyday it had three hotels, a pub, a links golf course and a few shops.
