The property is neutrally decorated throughout and set within an established, friendly neighbourhood.

The ground floor is arranged to provide flowing, interconnected reception and family spaces. There are four reception rooms in total, designed to work together while still offering distinct areas for different uses.

The main reception room features large windows and a log burner stove newly fitted around 4 years ago, creating a bright focal space that flows through to the adjacent family area. Further along, an open-plan reception space connects directly with the kitchen and enjoys views over the garden, allowing those in the kitchen to remain part of the activity in the living areas.

A further separate reception room, also with large windows, offers garden views and direct access outside. This flexible room would work well as a home office, teenage room, playroom or additional sitting room.

The open-plan kitchen is arranged as a family-size kitchen area with space for dining. It benefits from good natural light; built-in pantries and a layout designed for both everyday cooking and informal entertaining. With room to relax as well as dine, this kitchen functions as a sociable hub of the home, particularly with its connection to the adjoining family areas and its outlook towards the garden.

A large separate utility room complements the kitchen, providing additional storage and laundry space and helping to keep the main kitchen uncluttered. There is also a garage storeroom offering useful extra storage & ground floor cloakroom.

Upstairs, the property offers three bedrooms. The principal bedroom includes built-in wardrobes, additional space for bedroom furniture and pleasant views across neighbouring gardens. The second bedroom is a good-sized double with space for further furniture and enjoys views over the garden. The third bedroom is a good-sized single room, also with space for bedroom furniture, making it suitable as a growing childs room, guest room or study. The bathroom comprised of a shaped bath with shower over, pedestal wash hand basin & low level wc, the bathroom is presented well and serves the bedrooms.

Externally, the property benefits from driveway parking and a rear garden with a sunny, south-facing aspect. The garden offers different areas to sit, eat and socialise, making it a practical space for families and for outdoor entertaining.

The cul-de-sac setting contributes to a quieter environment with limited through traffic, and the area is known for its friendly community feel. The property sits within a top school catchment, with Bishop’s Stortford offering a selection of well-regarded primary and secondary schools, making this an appealing option for families and first-time buyers planning for the future.

Open green spaces are just a short stroll away, together with nearby parks and walking routes for recreation and exercise. Local shops and everyday amenities can be reached on foot, and the town centre is also within walking distance, providing a wider choice of supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and services.

Public transport links are a strong feature of Bishop’s Stortford. The town’s mainline rail station is within walking distance, offering regular services to London Liverpool Street, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. Typical journey times are around 40–45 minutes to London and under 40 minutes to Cambridge, making the property suitable for commuters who value a balance between access to the city and a more residential environment. Road links are also convenient, with routes towards the M11 providing access to London and the wider region.

Overall, this three-bedroom semi-detached house for sale in Bishop’s Stortford combines a flowing ground-floor layout, multiple reception rooms, a family-focused open-plan kitchen, a south-facing garden and an appealing cul-de-sac position close to schools, green spaces, shops and mainline rail connections.

Current owners view and experience they wanted to share...

Neighbours/what makes this road special:
- Easy walk to school
- Very close to the woods, lovely view from the garden and x2 playgrounds are nearby
- Being a Crescent it means that the road is very quiet from cars
- A lovely mix of generations who come together for big occasions.

We have closed our road twice in recent years for street parties and every year we do a street Christmas light switch on with Mulled wine and mince pies

- Neighbours either side are lovely, they are grandmother's and say how nice it is to see and hear the children out playing. Very nice that we dont have to worry about our kids being noisy!
- We have made friends for life on this road and experienced our best memories in this house. Anyone who lives here will be sure to find it a very welcoming and supportive street to live on as well as a home that feels welcoming and safe.

New Lighting:
All new spotlights and light switches/dimmers fitted this year in bedrooms (plus new ceiling fan in room 1), landing, hallway, front room, family room and kitchen
New Radiators: From 2 years ago until a few weeks ago, new radiators are in front room, dining area, study/playroom, 3rd bedroom

Emersion heater: New this year
Herringbone style flooring individually laid, in study/playroom: New last year
Garden: Landscaped 4 years ago, planting by me and pergola 3 years ago

Other notes:
The morning sun pours to the dining space and a morning tea and coffee can be enjoyed out by the patio doors in the sunshine. As the day goes on the sun fills the garden where seating areas have also been placed which is great when entertaining or just enjoying as a family.
