A superb four bedroom detached bungalow in the pretty hamlet of Belsize on a beautiful plot of about 0.43 of an acre.
Description
Foyers occupies an elevated position overlooking a small green and is approached via double wooden gates, opening onto a double garage and a generous shingle driveway with ample parking. Steps rise to the front entrance, where a patio enjoys lovely open views across the front aspect. A pathway to the side provides convenient access to the rear garden.
Porcelain tiled flooring with underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, powered by an air source heat pump. The interiors are beautifully presented in calming, muted tones, creating a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere, and the property is offered in true move-in condition.
The front door opens into a spacious and light-filled reception hall, which leads to bedroom four, currently arranged as a study. This room benefits from built-in cupboards and a fitted desk, making it an ideal home office space.
At the heart of the home is the impressive kitchen/dining room, with sliding doors opening directly onto the terrace - perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining. The kitchen is fitted with granite worktops and a substantial island incorporating cupboards, drawers and a recycling bin. Integrated Neff appliances include an induction hob, oven, combination microwave oven and dishwasher, together with a large built-in fridge freezer.
The dining area flows seamlessly into the sitting room, a warm and inviting space centred around a fireplace with wood-burning stove. A downstairs cloakroom completes the ground floor accommodation.
Off the hall, a corridor lined with floor-to-ceiling storage cupboards leads through to the utility room, fitted with wooden worktops, a sink, space for a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a side door to the garden.
The principal bedroom enjoys a bay window overlooking the front and features a well-appointed dressing room with fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. The fully tiled en suite includes a large walk-in shower, wash hand basin with storage drawers and WC. Bedroom two also overlooks the front and has its own en suite shower room.
On the first floor, bedroom three benefits from air conditioning and is served by a spacious four-piece bathroom. There is also a large eaves storage area accessed from this floor.
Outside
The rear garden is a particularly attractive feature of the property, offering a high degree of privacy and seclusion. Steps rise from the terrace to two further seating terraces, creating excellent spaces for relaxing, dining and entertaining. The large garden is mainly laid to lawn with beautifully stocked borders containing mature trees and shrubs, together with a pond and waterfall feature. A summerhouse and garden shed complete the outdoor space.
