Location
Set on the north side of the seaside village of Gullane, Strathmore enjoys a lovely position on Hill Road, a stone’s throw from Gullane beach. This wonderful sandy bay with excellent views out onto the Firth of Forth makes it very popular with families and holiday makers.
Gullane is well known for its golf courses, which surround the village. There are three golf clubs in the village: Gullane (three courses), Luffness and Muirfield. Archerfield (two courses) and Renaissance are just outside the village. The surrounding countryside offers beautiful walks through woodland and along the coast. The area is also popular with water sports enthusiasts, with a coastal rowing club, wind surfing and a sailing school located at North Berwick harbour.
