Ideally positioned within easy reach of local amenities and highly regarded schools, this wonderful home is perfectly suited to modern family living. Combining a peaceful village setting with convenient access to nearby towns and transport links, it represents an excellent opportunity for families seeking both space and lifestyle.

The internal accommodation begins with a bright porch leading through to a welcoming entrance hall, which in turn provides access via double doors to a spacious lounge. This inviting room features a window to the front and French doors opening onto the rear garden, while a charming brick-built fireplace enhances its cosy feel- perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The well-appointed kitchen offers ample storage and workspace, along with space for dining, and enjoys views over the rear garden. A separate utility room provides additional practicality. For more formal occasions, there is a dedicated dining room, which also gives access to the integrated garage, while a nearby lobby leads out to the garden. Externally, the rear garden features a charming seating area, a manicured lawn, and a canopied hot tub area, all surrounded by mature shrubs to create a private and tranquil setting-ideal for both relaxing and entertaining. To the front, a block-paved driveway provides ample off-street parking and leads to a large integrated garage, while a neatly maintained lawn enhances the property’s kerb appeal.

What The Owners Say:

We never tire of the amazing outlook, beautiful sunsets and abundance of wildlife at Purdey, including monk jack deer, pheasant, rabbits and woodpeckers. You’re nestled in the countryside and yet everything is so accessible. You can easily walk to the gp surgery, shops, post office, pharmacy, church and sought after local schools. You can stroll to the renowned Bricklayer’s Arms and there are lots of good dog walks and a bus stop on your doorstep. Purdey is in the catchment area for some excellent senior schools, including Chelmsford County High School for Girls and kegs. Commuting to London is quick with fast trains from Shenfield or the Elizabeth Line from Brentwood. Overall, it’s a really unique spot which has been perfect for us over the years and we will miss it when we move
